From my entries, i probably sound like someone who has opposite and contradictory views on China. Possibly written by two different people even.
I guess that is my problem... as a modern Chinese. I need to define what does it mean to be a Chinese these days..
The problem is, sometimes I just cant find the reason to do so. Why define ur identity when it is such a fluid concept.. It might make ur life easier. But it closes u to alot of other possibilities too.
I think I will just indulge in this dilemma until I finally figure it out.. someday.. perhaps.
